Travante Williams of Anchorage continued his red-hot shooting in Portugal.

The 6-foot-4 forward with a soft touch improved his field-goal percentage to .673 on the season after nine games.

The former UAF star sank 9-of-14 shots and scored 23 points as Oliveirense beat Barreirense 82-78 in Portugal’s top division.

Williams, of Mt. Edgecumbe High fame, added 4-of-7 free throws, three rebounds, two steals and an assist for an efficient 22 player ranking.

He’s at his best with the ball in his hands, utilizing his aggressive dribble-drive game. He cuts better than Ginsu.

Williams is averaging 12 points and a 13.6 player ranking this season.

He’s grabbing 4.3 rebounds per game and shooting .792 from the free-throw line.
