Burgess has 25 points, 11 boards for her 6th double-double

The 5-foot-10 freshman produced 25 points and 11 rebounds in her team’s 75-68 loss to North Idaho during NWAC play in Wenatchee, Washington.
She connected on 10-of-16 field goals, including two 3s. He made two steals. Six of his rebounds were on the offensive end.
Burgess, of Chugiak High fame, leads Wenatchee Valley with 16.4 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
She’s been especially effective since the calendar change, bumping up her scoring average to 21.5 over the last seven games.
