King breaks up no-hitter with first base hit, RBI for Northeast

The Northeast Community College freshman first baseman broke up a no-hitter with a two-out double in the fourth inning in the second game of a doubleheader against Hesston College in Kansas.
King, of Lathrop High fame, is playing for a Northeast team if Nebraska that is playing its inaugural season of JC baseball.
He laced a full-count fastball over the head of the right fielder to drive in his first college RBI.
His extra-base hit provided Northeast a 2-1 lead in a game they lost 9-8 in walkoff fashion.
King finished 1-for-2 with a walk in the seven-inning game.
