Robinson ends sophomore year on strong note for NW Christian

Anchorage’s Reece Robinson reached double digits for the third straight game, but it could not save Northwest Christian from a season-ending loss.

Warner Pacific beat the Beacons 95-81 in the first round of the NAIA Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament in Portland, Oregon.

Robinson, of Service High fame, scored 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field and a 3-for-3 clip from the foul line.

The 6-foot-4 sophomore forward finished the season with an 8.7-point scoring average in 23 games.

Robinson was one of two players on the team with at least 200 points and 100 rebounds for the season.

Northwest Christian finished 13-15.

Robinson scored double figures 11 times, including nine of them coming off the bench. His season high was 23 points.
