As a first-year transfer, Tyler Wells of Fairbanks has spent most of his junior year adjusting to his new team at Concordia in Portland, Oregon.

The 6-foot guard finally found his comfort zone in the final game of the season.

Wells, of Monroe Catholic High fame, pumped in double figures for the first time in 16 games with an 11-point performance against Western Washington during NCAA D2 play.

He played a season-best 21 minutes and grabbed a season-high four rebounds while matching his season high with four assists. He made 5-of-8 field goals.
