Wyche finished with a season-high 32 points on 13-of-20 field goals, including 6-of-11 from downtown.
The 5-foot-8 guard added seven rebounds, five assists and three steals in a complete effort.
This performance was a microcosm of his season as more than half of his points have come on 3-pointers. In this game it was 18 of 32 [56%]. On the year it’s 144 of 250 [58%].
Wyche, of West High fame, is shooting .505 percent from deep to buoy a career-best 22.7-point scoring average in 11 games. He did not play the first half of the season.
Since his return the former Alaska player of the year has had big scoring games of 29, 30 and 32 points and made four or more 3s eight times.
