Colter Lasher of Anchorage wasn’t bashful in his pro debut with Geraldton as he took the most shots on his team.

He also delivered a double-double with six assists as the Bucs beat East Perth 89-85 in Australia’s SBL.

The 6-foot-7 rookie scored 23 points on 9-of-27 shooting and added 13 rebounds. He went 5-for-8 at the charity stripe.

Lasher, of Dimond High fame, turned pro after a successful career at Houston Baptist, a NCAA D1 school in the Southland Conference.

His 1,250 career points rank eighth among Alaska men to play at the D1 level.
