Anchorage’s Clair DeGeorge bagged a goal to help the Team USA U22 women’s hockey team earn a 2-1 victory over Team Canada during an exhibition game in Calgary, Alberta.

She deflected a one-timer on the power play in the final minute of the first period.

Team USA won all three games of the series.

DeGeorge is entering her sophomore season at Bemidji State University, where the 5-foot-10 forward earned All-WCHA Third Team and All=Rookie honors last season.

She played in 37 of 38 games for the Beavers as a freshman and finished third on the team with 23 points on seven goals and 16 assists.

Her assist total was the third-highest in school history for a freshman and her point total was seventh best.

DeGeorge tied for second on the team and seventh in the WCHA with three power play goals.
