Once teammates in high school, Anchorage’s Bubacar Touray and Gezim Konjuhi have reunited at Tacoma Community College.

And the results are pretty much the same.

Touray and Konjuhi, of West High fame, were one of the most prolific 1-2 punches in 2016 in the Cook Inlet Conference and now they are delivering big offensive numbers in their first year together in the NWAC.

They have combined for five of the team’s seven goals to buoy Tacoma’s 2-0 start.

Konjuhi, a freshman forward, scored his first college hat trick in just his second game in a 5-0 win over Rogue Community College in Seattle, Washington.

The game stood at 1-0 well into the second before the Alaskans took over.

Konjuhi scored his first goal in the 63rd minute, his second in the 72nd minute and his third – for a natural hat trick – in the 74th minute.

His final goal was assisted by Touray, who scored in the 86th minute.

Touray, a sophomore forward, also scored in the team’s 2-1 victory in the season opener.

In 22 career games, he has scored 10 goals and earned a total of 22 points.

Touray led Tacoma and ranked 19th in the NWAC with eight goals.
