Anchorage’s Jonny Homza hit his second home run of the season off an opposing pitcher who doesn’t give up many long balls.

The 19-year-old San Diego Padres prospect blasted a solo shot against Dodgers right-hander Edward Cuello in the sixth inning in a 5-2 loss in the rookie-level Arizona League.

Homza, of South High fame, now has two home runs in his last 23 games after not hitting one in his first 65 games as a professional.

Cuello had allowed only one home run in 58 innings prior to Homza going yard.
