Anchorage’s Justice Augafa has one of the most dangerous jobs on the football field.

He returns punts and kickoffs for the University of Hawaii.

The junior transfer has enjoyed his best results the last two weeks, including today’s 44-41 OT victory over San Jose State in California.

Augafa, of South High fame, had a season-high 45-yard kickoff return on his way to racking up 98 return yards on three kickoffs.

He also returned three punts for 10 yards.

Last week against Duquesne he returned two punts for 24 yards, including a season-high 21-yard return.

On the season, the 5-foot-11, 210-pound Alaskan is averaging 24.2 yards on kickoff returns and 6.8 yards on punt returns.

Hawaii is 5-1 on the season, including 2-0 in the Mountain West Conference.

This is his first season on the field for the Rainbow Warriors after redshirting last season.

He transferred from LA Harbor College in California, where in his two seasons he played safety, running back, quarterback, linebacker and kick returner.
