DeGeorge nets her first goal of new season for Bemidji State

Clair DeGeorge of Anchorage scored the first goal of her sophomore season for the Bemidji State University women’s hockey team in a 4-3 loss to Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island.
The reigning All-WCHA Third Team forward bagged the game’s first goal early in the second period.
It was her eighth career goal in 41 games with Bemidji State.
Last season, DeGeorge finished second on the team with 16 assists to go along with seven goals, tying for third on the team with 23 points.
This summer she was selected for the Team USA U22 squad that played in a three-game exhibition series with Team Canada 2-1 in Calgary, Alberta.
Team USA won all three games, with DeGeorge scoring scoring the game’s first goal after she deflected a one-timer on the power play.
