Hale pumps in season-high 30 points as rookie in German league

DaJonee Hale of Anchorage used a perfect performance at the foul line to trigger her first 30-point game as a professional player in Germany.
The 5-foot-8 rookie went 12-for-12 at the free-throw line and finished with a season-high 30 points to lead Bamberg to a 79-71 victory over Wrzburg in the country’s second-division league.
The former NAIA player of the year out of Central Methodist University leads her team and ranks third in the league with a 21.5 points per game average.
Hale, of Houston High fame, also has games of 20, 24 and 25 points.
Bamberg leads the league’s South Division with a 5-1 record.
