Gustafson, Curran notch points in same game for 12th time

Aquinas College hockey players Steven Gustafson and Mike Curran of Anchorage each produced points for the Saints in a 4-1 win over Michigan State in the NAIA.
It was the 12th time in 24 games this season that each Alaskan registered a point in the same game.
Both players helped Aquinas win the NAIA national title last season.
Gustafson, of West High fame, is a sophomore defenseman who has posted 8-10—18 totals in 20 games.
He leads all blue liners in goals and is tied for fourth on the team in assists.
Last season, Gustafson earned NAIA All-American honors and posted 10-21–31 totals in 35 games.

Mike Curran
Curran, of West High fame, is a sophomore forward who has collected 14-10—24 totals in 23 games.
He ranks second on the team in goals and twice has bagged 2-goal games. He is fourth in assists.
Curran was a late addition to the team last year and amassed 4-3–7 totals in 12 games.
