Miller in the mix for NWAC assist title at season’s halfway point
At the halfway point of the NWAC season, Southwestern Oregon Community College guard Moses Miller of Anchorage is in the hunt for the assist title.
The 6-foot-2 sophomore ranks second in the league with 84 assists, trailing only Robert Ford of Clackamas (107).
Miller’s season average of 7.6 assists per game is twice what he put up as a freshman.
Five times he’s dished out at least nine assists and three times he’s reached double figures (10, 11, 12). His career high of 13 was set last season.
He had 88 assists in 26 games last season. This season he has 84 in 11.
Miller, of East High fame, is averaging 15.0 points per game and this season reached the 500-point club for his SWOCC career.
