Wuthrich nets go-ahead goal as Boston upsets No. 8 Providence

Anchorage’s Emma Wuthrich of Boston University netted the go-ahead goal in the second period in a 5-3 upset over No. 8 Providence in Rhode Island.
The freshman forward scored an even-strength goal at the 10:37 mark to give Boston a 3-2 lead it would not relinquish.
It was her second goal of the season and increased her season totals to 2-2—4 in 22 games with the NCAA D1 Terriers.
All four of her points have come in the last 11 games, helping BU post an 8-2-1 record.
Wuthrich has won 68 faceoffs, including a season-high 17 against Boston College.
