Holley inks new deal with Ottawa of Canadian Football League
Anchorage’s Caleb Holley is on the move in the Canadian Football League.
The 28-year-old wide receiver has joined the Ottawa Redblacks after signing a one-year contract. The 2019 season will be his fourth year in the league.
He spent the previous three seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. In 33 games, he racked up 109 receptions for 1,476 yards and seven touchdowns. He averaged 13.5 yards per catch.
Holley, of East High fame, is the first Alaskan in 20 years to play in the CFL and one of only three players from the 907 to ever play up north.
