UTEP’s Duffield continues to tear the cover off the ball in C-USA

Kacey Duffield of Fairbanks is playing like a MVP in Conference USA.
The UTEP senior first baseman is one of only two players in the NCAA D1 league to rank in the top-10 in four major offensive categories.
She is second in on-base percentage (.516) and fourth in batting average (.403), slugging percentage (.708) and home runs (7). All are career highs.
Duffield, of Lathrop High fame, also ranks sixth in walks (17).
