Rosenzweig helps engineer doubleheader sweep by MIT softball

Anchorage’s Sierra Rosenzweig accumulated two hits and two runs in two games as the fifth-ranked MIT softball team opened the NCAA D3 season with a doubleheader sweep of Simpsons University in Brighton, Massachusetts.
The junior started both games – once in left field, the other in center field – and finished 2-for-6 overall, adding a stolen base and RBI.
Rosenzweig, of East High fame, is a career .324 hitter in 77 games.
