Anchorage softball slugger Morgan Hill of Anchorage single-handedly carried the University of Missouri-St. Louis to a doubleheader sweep of Rockhurst.
The junior left fielder went 6-for-7 at the plate and drove in 5 runs, including the go-ahead base hit in each of the two games.
Hill, of East High fame, raised her season batting average to .293 in 39 games with the NCAA D2 program in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
In Game 1, she went 2-for-3 with an RBI double in the fifth inning that broke a 3-3 tie. She later scored to make it 5-3 in a game the Tritons won 6-5.
In Game 2, she went 4-for-4 with 4 RBIs, including an RBI single in the fourth inning that snapped a 4-4 tie in a game the Tritons won 7-5.
