Holley passes 1,500 career yards in Canadian Football League
Anchorage’s Caleb Holley hauled in five receptions for 55 yards in his first game with the Ottawa Redblacks in a 32-28 victory over the Calgary Stampede on opening weekend in the Canadian Football League.
The fourth-year wide receiver surpassed the 1,500-yard mark for his career.
Holley, of East High fame, now has 114 catches for 1,531 yards and seven touchdowns.
All three totals are tops among players from The Last Frontier.
The 6-foot-4 playmaker out of East Central University played his first three seasons with the Saskatchewan.
