Lasher’s 3-point stroke powers monster month in Australia

Colter Lasher
Anchorage’s Colter Lasher has added a 3-point shot to his game in his second pro season with the Geraldton Buccaneers in Australia.
The former 1,500-point scorer from Houston Baptist University has always been a better post player than perimeter shooter, but that has changed of late.
Lasher, of Dimond High fame, has made 10-of-28 3-pointers over the last seven games to help fuel a season-high 21.6-point scoring average during the month of July.
Oddly enough, the 6-foot-7 forward went 0-for-3 from downtown when he pumped in a season-high 27 points. He finished 11-of-17 from the floor and added a season-high 5-of-7 free throws.
He added eight rebounds and five assists.
Lasher is averaging 18.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game in 23 appearances.
He started the season 5-for-53 from 3-point land and then raised his season shooting percentage more than 100 points after this recent surge.
