Reid, Johnson score big for Team USA at Battle of the Border

Anchorage’s Jo Reid and Palmer’s Jeremy Johnson helped an American Footgolf League all-star team win the first of two legs against Team Mexico in the Battle of the Border event in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Both players competed in doubles and scored a single point in Team USA’s 10-1 victory. The second leg is Nov. 7-8 in Palm Springs, California
This isn’t the first time the Alaskans have exceled for the red, white and blue during an international competition.
Jeremy Johnson
In 2016, Reid led Team USA over Japan in the Pacific Trophy.
In 2018, Johnson helped Team USA beat Spain in the World Cup bronze-medal match.
