Terry excels at exposure camp, releases debut album ‘Tropicana’

Anchorage’s Jalen Terry just dropped his first album.
He celebrated by dropping 18 points a game at a recent exposure camp in Las Vegas, where he performed well in front of dozens of international scouts looking to sign guys for European teams.
The former Hardin-Simmons University player told me his player rating was among the Top 25 among 140 players at the camp.
Terry, of ACS fame, averaged 18 points, 5 rebounds and 1.5 assists.
He averaged 13.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game as a senior at NCAA D3 Hardin-Simmons in Abilene, Texas.
If the 24-year-old doesn’t sign a hoops contract, he has given himself other options in the music industry.
“I never wanna tunnel myself into one avenue,” Terry said. “If basketball ends sooner than I think or just ends period, I know I have something to fall back on.”
As a recording artist he goes by the name Jaychxf.
His debut album ‘Tropicana’ was released earlier this year. Last month he filmed a music video for the track ‘Millionaire’ near his college campus in Texas.
