She has played only two games, but Wasilla’s Alexis Friesen has already helped the University of Nevada women’s soccer team make school history.

The freshman defender scored the winning goal in the 71st minute as the Wolfpack won the NCAA D1 matchup 2-1 against the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.

This was the Alaskan’s first goal in college and provided Nevada with its first-ever win at Pacific.

Friesen, of Wasilla High fame, scored the winning goal two minutes after Pacific had tied things at 1-1 in the 69th minute.
