Anchorage’s Kamryn Frisk is moving on up the college softball ladder.

After two productive seasons at junior college with the Northwest Kansas Tech Lady Mavericks, the two-way star is headed to the University of Minnesota Crookston.

Frisk, of Service High fame, has signed with the NCAA D2 school as a pitcher.

Minnesota Crookston plays in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

She helped usher in a new era at Northwest Kansas Tech, which added softball in 2017. Frisk hit the first home run in school history.

She hit a total of three home runs and finished her JUCO career with a .355 batting average in 63 games.

As a pitcher, the right-hander appeared in 35 games for Northwest Kansas Tech and had six complete games in 16 starts.
