Cummings scores twice, giving him four TDs in three games
Bulldozer running back Josh Cummings of Fairbanks scored a pair of touchdowns from inside the 5-yard-line for Western Colorado University in a 38-31 loss to Adams State in Alamosa, Colorado.
The 205-pound redshirt freshman scored on a 1-yard plunge in the third quarter and a 3-yard run in the fourth quarter. His second TD tied the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game at 31-31 with 1:55 to play.
Cummings, of West Valley High fame, has four TDs in his first three college games and ranks fifth in the RMAC with an 8-points-per-game average.
He finished with 45 yards on 13 carries. On the season he has 25 rushes for 100 yards.
