Turek Taylor
Anchorage’s Turek Taylor found the end zone for the first time as a college football player.
The Fullerton College sophomore wide receiver hauled in a 19-yard score in the fourth quarter of a 33-30 loss to Southwestern in the California Community College Athletic Association.
It was the second catch of the season for Taylor, of West High fame.
The man in motion, he caught the ball at the 9-yard line, shed a tackle, took one stride and then jumped into the end zone as he ping-ponged off two defenders.
