Casey Bailey of Anchorage has set the ECHL ablaze with six goals in his first six games to lead the league in scoring.

The 28-year-old forward with the South Carolina Stingrays ranks second in the league with seven points.

The Alaskan’s hot start has helped the Stingrays post a 5-1 record for 10 points, good enough for third out of 26 teams in the ECHL.

Bailey, of West High fame, turned pro in 2015 after a college career at Penn State University. The undrafted player has NHL experience with the Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators.

He is a former AHL All-Star with the Binghamton Senators after leading the team with 21 goals.

Bailey owns 58-72-130 totals for his pro career in all leagues.
