Currier, Heil each collect points as Embry-Riddle stays hot
Anchorage’s own Megan Currier and Erica Heil each contributed points to help the Embry-Riddle women’s soccer team beat Sierra Nevada 5-0 in Prescott, Arizona.
The win extended the team’s conference-best nine-game unbeaten streak.
Currier, of South High fame, scored in just the fifth minute to get the party started. It was her third goal of the season and 11th of her career.
It was also her second game-winning goal.
Heil, of Dimond High fame, collected her first assist of the year on her team’s fourth goal in the 59th minute.
Embry-Riddle (10-3-3) sits atop the California Pacific Conference with a 7-0-1 record.
