Davis registers 500th career kill in college volleyball career
Anchorage’s Savanna Davis is the newest member of the 500-kill Club.
The junior middle blocker surpassed the major milestone this season with Peru State College, although most of her career kills came at Grays Harbor College.
Davis, of South High fame, has compiled 530 kills and 174 blocks in 97 career matches.
Coming off the bench at Peru State, a NAIA school in Nebraska, she has posted 47 kills, 20 blocks and a .163 attack percentage in 13 matches.
She had nine kills and a .421 hitting percentage against Grand View.
Davis dominated the net at Grays Harbor, where she was one of the NWAC’s best with 483 kills and 154 blocks in 84 matches over two seasons.
