As Alaska’s active career points leader in college hockey, Kenny Hausinger of Anchorage is used to lighting the lamp.

But nothing quite like this year.

The University of Massachusetts-Lowell senior forward has amassed nine points in the first seven games, his best scoring start of his career.

Hausinger, of Dimond High fame, bagged a goal and assist in a 3-3 tie with Boston University in Hockey East action.

It was his 15th multi-point game, boosting his career 36-33-69 totals in 112 games for UMass-Lowell.
