Swayman makes 31 saves to help Maine upset No. 8 Quinnipiac
Anchorage’s Jeremy Swayman turned aside all 17 shots in the third period to help the University of Maine hockey team put No 8 Quinnipiac on ice.
The junior goaltender finished with 31 saves in the 4-2 win in Hamden, Connecticut.
Swayman improved to 3-1 on the season and racked up his 32nd career win in net.
His 2.71 goals-against average is buoyed by the fact he’s surrendered just two even-strength goals over the last 183 minutes.
