Togagae hammers 21 kills as Rogue moves to 19-1 in NWAC
Anchorage’s Violett Togagae slammed a season-high 21 kills to lead Rogue Community College to a four-set win over Umpqua in NWAC volleyball.
The 5-foot-10 middle blocker finished 21-for-39 at the net with a .436 attack percentage.
She added 16 digs for her first double-double in 10 league matches.
Togagae, of Bartlett High fame, added four blocks and accounted for 25 of her team’s 75 points.
The freshman has had as many as 18 digs in a match and a .520 attack percentage in another.
She’s a driving force behind Rogue’s 19-1 start in its first year in the NWAC.
