Williams records career-high 12 kills as TMC moves up in GSAC
Anchorage’s Emilye Grace Williams has picked a fine time to pick up her play for The Master’s University volleyball team.
The sophomore slammed double-digit kills for the second time in three matches to help fuel a late-season charge that has seen the Mustangs climb into a second-place tie in the Golden State Athletic Conference.
Williams, of South High fame, recorded a career-high 12 kills in a four-set win over Life Pacific in San Dimas, California.
The Master’s has won four straight matches to improve to 8-3 in the GSAC, tied with Westmont and Menlo and a half-game back of first-place Hope International.
Williams had 10 kills in a win over San Diego Christian during the win streak.
Before this win streak she had reached double figures in kills only once in the first 14 matches of the NAIA season.
