Sacramento State has posted a 9-0-6 record since a 3-1 loss Aug. 23 to UC Davis in the NCAA season opener.
Wilson, of Dimond High fame, is a starting defender for the Hornets and anchors the best defensive unit in the Big Sky Conference.
Sac State owns eight shutouts and the league’s fewest goals against average of 0.69 after allowing 12 goals in 16 games.
The Hornets are coming off a 1-0 win over Northern Colorado that clinched their berth in the Big Sky Tournament for the fourth time in five years.
Wilson recently collected her first career point with Sac State after assisting on the first goal of a 3-0 win over Southern Utah.
She has asserted herself as a valuable piece to the puzzle by never coming off the field and starting 27 of 28 games since her arrive after transferring from Jacksonville State.
