Wortham pushes points streak to 4, Clark’s division streak to 61
Whitney Wortham of Soldotna has drastically picked up her scoring over the last two weeks as the Clark Community College women’s soccer team continues to win.
The sophomore forward has bagged at least one point in four straight games to help Clark remain unbeaten in the NWAC’s South Division.
Clark has gone 9-0-1 in the division this season and has pieced together a 61-game unbeaten streak against division rivals dating to 2014.
Wortham, of SoHi fame, earned an assist on the third goal in her team’s 4-1 win over Rogue in the most recent game.
She has recorded two goals and three assists in the last four games to bolster her 3-4—10 season totals in 13 games.
Wortham is tied for second in points among the 10 Alaska women playing in the NWAC.
