Gatkuoth delivers season high 12 points, 5 assists for NMJC

Mareng Gatkuoth of Anchorage ignited his team in the final 10 minutes to spark New Mexico Junior College to a 61-54 win over Mesa CC in Arizona.
The freshman had a hand in nine of his team’s final 16 points with a 3-pointer and three assists.
His final assist gave the Thunderbirds a 59-54 cushion with 2:38 to play.
Gatkuoth, of ACS fame, finished with season highs of 12 points and five assists.
He is averaging 5.1 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 14 games.
