Hepa enjoys extended playing time, delivers strong performance

Kamaka Hepa
Barrow’s Kamaka Hepa played more minutes for the University of Texas men’s basketball team against High Point than he had in his previous eight appearances.
The result was one of the most productive performances of his career.
The 6-foot-9 freshman logged 24 minutes and contributed seven points, five rebounds, three assists and three blocked shots in an 89-58 rout in Austin, Texas.
Hepa, of Barrow High fame, matched his career high in rebounds and assists. The blocks were a new high mark.
His career high for points is 11 set last season against Baylor.
Hepa made a highlight hustle play in the first half that led to one of his best assists.
