Nathan Yockey of Coffman Cove continues to be a reliable scorer for the Highline College men’s basketball team.
The 6-foot-4 sophomore netted 18 points in a 90-72 win over Olympic in NWAC, his ninth double-digit scoring effort in 12 games.
He drained a season-best four 3-pointers and leads Highline with 24 3s on the season.
Yockey, of Klawock High fame, ranks third on his team in scoring at 12.3 points per game. His season high is 22 and he’s scored 18 twice.
He leads his team in 3-point percentage at .462 on 24-of-52 shooting and he’s made at least one triple in 11 of 12 games.
