Palmer’s Jake Heun made quick work out of an accomplished fighter with a first-round TKO victory over Satoshi Ishii in a heavyweight bout at Rizin FF 20 in Saitama, Japan.
The fight lasted 72 seconds – his third-fastest win of his 24-fight MMA professional career.
Heun, of Palmer High fame, improved his pro record to 15-9 as he won his third consecutive fight.
He went 4-1 in 2019.
Ishii – a 2008 Olympic gold medalist in judo – came into the fight with a 22-10 record, making him the second-most accomplished fighter Heun beat.
In 2014, he knocked out 28-fight winner Ron Fields in 20 seconds.
