Bennett breaks Grand Canyon school record in 3,000-meter run

Anchorage’s Blake Bennett broke the Grand Canyon University school record in the men’s 3,000-meter run.
The sophomore distance runner placed fifth out of 37 participants at the Houston Invitational in Texas with a time of 8:29.47.
Bennett, of ACS fame, crushed his previous PR of 8:51.41 set last year at the Western Athletic Conference Indoor Championships.
