It doesn’t matter which conference Tanner Ealum of Anchorage competes in for Liberty University, chances are she’s going to break the meet record in the 800-meter run.

Two years after she set the meet record at the Big South Conference outdoor championships, the Alaska track star broke the meet record at the Atlantic Sun Conference indoor championships.

Ealum broke the ASUN meet record in the 800 with a time of 2:06.64; her Big South meet record time was 2:06.89.

She was part of three total titles on the weekend – the 800, the distance medley relay at the team championship.

Ealum, of ACS fame, has won eight conference championships in her four years at Liberty.

In 2017 as a freshman she won 400 indoor and outdoor titles in the Big South.

As a sophomore in 2018 she was the Big South 800 outdoor champ in addition to winning the Eastern College Athletic Conference indoor 500.

In 2019 as a junior she was part of the ASUN 4×400 relay indoor title and repeated as ECAC indoor 500 champ.

As a senior, Ealum has added the 800 indoor and distance medley relay crowns to her resume with the outdoor season still to come.
