Hall-Scriven bags season-high 15 for first-place Skagit Valley

Anchorage’s DeMarcus Hall-Scriven brought early energy that sparked Skagit Valley College to another victory in the NWAC.

The freshman guard came off the bench to score seven of his team’s 10 points in a 10-2 run that pushed the lead to 19-6 and kickstarted an 86-74 win over Peninsula.

Skagit Valley extended its winning streak as the team improved to 23-0 this season.

Hall-Scriven, of ACS fame, finished with a season-high 15 points in 14 minutes, highlighted by 6-of-7 shooting from the foul line.

This was his fifth double-figure scoring effort in 23 games. His scoring average is 6.0 points per game.
