King wears a triple-crown for Porterville College in California

Colin King of Fairbanks is running away with MVP honors of the Porterville College baseball team.
The sophomore slugger leads the Pirates with a .300 batting average, two home runs and 18 RBIs in 19 games.
King, of Lathrop High fame, had two games in the California Community College Athletic Association where he basically single-handedly lifted his team to victory.
The 6-foot-3, 225-pounder smacked two solo home runs in a 6-2 win over Siskiyous.
In a 13-5 win over West Hills Coalinga he went 3-for-4 and drove in five RBIs.
