Alaska Sports Hall of Fame

Anchorage’s Destiny Reimers became the first basketball player in ACS Lions school history to win Gatorade Alaska Player of the Year after taking home 2020 girls honor.

She averaged 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game as a senior and led ACS to the 2019 state title as a junior.

Reimers has signed with the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

The winner is selected by a panel each Friday and announced Saturday at 11 a.m. on the Sports Guys on CBS Sports Radio 590AM and 96.7FM.
