McMahon named Alaska Sports Hall of Fame athlete of the week

April 5, 2020
Patrick McMahon was named the Alaska Association of Basketball Coaches 4A Boys Player of the Year.

The Colony High School junior drew attention throughout the year for his highlight reel dunks and overall offensive ability, but the hard work he put into improving on the defensive side of the court helped him become a more well-rounded player and one of Alaska’s top basketball talents in recent years.

McMahon has committed to playing basketball at D1 Montana Sate after completing his senior season.

The winner is selected by a panel each Friday and announced Saturday at 11 a.m. on the Sports Guys on CBS Sports Radio 590AM and 96.7FM.
