Juneau Douglas High School senior Kaden Harris has been doing gymnastics, cheer and dance most of his life. He has varsity lettered in both cheer and dance. He is the first boy to ever be on the Crimson Bear Dance team in the 50 plus years of existence. The team traveled to Orlando, Florida in 2019 and brought home a National title in Military. This year he was an officer on the team and really enjoyed this leadership role. Kaden has traveled around the United States attending dance competitions and conventions. He has won many scholarships, including the break out artist for Alaska! He auditioned and made it as 1 of 27 specialty dancers for BYU Stadium of Fire, a giant 4th of July celebration. He got to open for headliner Keith Urban and perform in front of 44,000 people. He is a caring, amazing young man who teaches dance classes to kids at TAFY Dance Alaska. After high school he plans to get work for an airline, travel the world, and dance as much as he can!
