The Juneau Douglas High School’s Austin McCurley, Tad Watson, and Uly Salaver provided senior leadership for the Crimson Bears basketball team and leave behind a legacy of hard work and commitment. Here is what Coach Robert Caspterson had to say about the trio: “I am extremely proud of the growth that our seniors have shown throughout their high school careers. Their dedication to our program and the leadership they provided has set the table for our future success. I expect that these three talented, hard-working, and considerate young men will continue to learn and grow as they become productive and contributing members of their community.” Austin is undecided as to what he plans to do after graduation. Tad plans on attending Otterbein University (Ohio). And Uly has committed his future to the Alaska National Guard.
