Eva Goering was co-captain of the 2020 Juneau Douglas High School soccer team and played varsity soccer for the Crimson Bears since she was a freshman.  Her team was State Runner-Up in 2017 and won consecutive state championships in 2018 and 2019.  Eva was State All Tournament in 2019 awarded Player of the Game for the State Championship game in 2019, in which Juneau crowned a 19-1 season. Her senior season was canceled due to the COVID-19 virus. Eva’s other interests include downhill skiing, fishing, and being a Juneau youth court volunteer. Being able to compete in the Arctic winter games in Nuuk, Greenland in 2016 was an influencing factor in her interest in playing college soccer and Eva has committed to playing for the North Idaho Cardinals and is excited for what the future holds.
